When your child is stressed and dysregulated, they struggle to egange and learn. Your child is capable of so much more than what they might be showing right now.
Together, we will:
- Help your child feel safe, calm, and happy.
- Support your child to come out of stress mode and into learning mode.
- Set specific, achievable learning goals for your child, with your support or that of another caregiver.
- Develop strategies to ensure that you and other caregivers can effectively work on these learning goals with your child.
With these steps, you’ll no longer lie awake at night worrying about whether your child will become toilet trained, develop essential life skills, stop being aggressive, sleep through the night, or learn to regulate their emotions. Instead, your family will be able to enjoy time together and live the life you envision.
It will be my honor to support you and your family
in creating a vibrant and happy life!
In my 20 years of working with families of children on the autism spectrum, I have listened to parents with compassion and care. I have guided them with strategies to see that, even in the most difficult situations, they can shift their lives to the direction they want.
As a former Senior Teacher in The Son-Rise Program (a play-base therapy for children on the autism spectrum), I have spent thousands of hours working one on one with more than 900 children and adults on the autism spectrum – ages 2 to 32 – from every inhabited continent. I have taught parents, caregivers, and professionals in individual and large group settings. I have addressed audiences in person and online from all over the globe, tackling issues such as: verbal communication, social skills, aggressive behavior, sleep difficulties, anxiety struggles, toilet training, fussy eating challenges, and more.
Additionally, as a Gut-Brain Health Expert, I teach the GAPS (Gut and Psychology Syndrome) Nutritional Protocol. The GAPS Diet, developed by Dr Natasha Campbell-McBride – a Russian neurologist and neurosurgeon – was specifically designed when her own son was diagnosed with autism. Since it’s creation in the 1990’s, thousands of people worldwide have successfully used this protocol to reverse many challenging symptoms associated with autism, such as anxiety, sensory sensitivities, sleep disturbances, behavioral challenges, and difficulties with focus and concentration.

“I want to take a moment to let you know the incredible impact you’ve made in our lives over the years. The way you’ve poured your heart and soul into making a difference has left an indelible mark on us. I have no doubt that you’ll continue to shine brightly and positively impact countless lives. Your passion for helping our special kids is evident… We’re currently doing the SCD diet and it has been a huge game changer for Tom over the years. There have been countless achievements just this school year. His average grade in all subjects is over 95%. His favorite thing now is basketball which he started recently. It’s super challenging for him to coordinate but he keeps trying. After his class this Tuesday he told me that he was able to dribble the ball for a bit and was so proud of himself! He is also more independent with daily living skills. There’s so much more!”

“When I met Camila nearly 3 years ago and she told me we should try GAPS, my son Mac was 7 years old. We were already following a very strict diet (gluten-free, casein-free, soy-free, corn-free, no processed foods, no processed sugar, etc.). I had heard of GAPS, but I thought it was too hard.
We had worked with so many practitioners and tried so many things up to this point, and for the most part, Mac was a “non-responder.” He took baby steps forward and would often regress. I started implementing GAPS slowly as I learned the protocol, and I began to see big changes—especially when I finally removed fruit and other natural sugars. I would remove a food and introduce a new one—a very slow process.
We have been on GAPS, working backwards toward the “Intro” diet, for 1.5 years. We’ve seen a huge reduction in hyperactivity (we used to have dirty handprints on the walls because he was literally bouncing off the walls). He stopped overnight bedwetting. He has better sleep, better communication, better eye contact, better focus, and an amazing ability to connect with others.
We just started a once-a-week homeschool co-op, which would not have been possible a year ago. He’s looking forward to his birthday party this weekend (he will be 9). I can take him to just about any public place without fear of a tantrum or elopement. I’m free to go to the grocery store whenever I want, and he pushes the cart for me. It’s been life-changing, to say the least!
We still have work to do—healing takes time. But I feel confident about his future now. I don’t lie awake at night in fear anymore. Yes, we take food everywhere we go! We just went on a short weekend trip, and I packed an entire carry-on bag of frozen foods for him. We always get a hotel with an in-suite kitchen so we can cook our own meals.
He has so much joy now. The pale skin and the dark circles have been replaced with pure joy! He laughs every day (mostly about farts and barf… typical boy… that’s what I’ve always dreamed of!). We continue to heal—but we’ve come so far!”

“I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to everyone—especially Camila and all the dedicated mothers who work tirelessly every day for their children.
The knowledge I’ve gained in this course has helped me recognize my own weaknesses and impatience. It has encouraged me to embrace a more loving and generous approach toward my family, particularly my child. I’ve let go of many anxieties and rigid behaviors that only created discomfort. Now, I find joy in everyday moments, regardless of the messiness of life. I’m learning to prioritize what truly matters.
Thank you all for your support.
For those fathers who weren’t present in this course, I encourage you to become actively involved in parenting your special kids—understanding the invaluable gems you have at home.”

“We’ve witnessed it ourselves—children don’t simply “grow out of” autistic tendencies. These tendencies often solidify into patterns, and at some point, they can lead to a diagnosis. Many children are on the spectrum without a formal diagnosis, leaving parents with only a vague feeling that something is “off.” As life becomes more challenging and toxicity builds up, it only gets harder.
We feel incredibly fortunate to be addressing our son’s patterns early. Thanks to Camila’s behavioral suggestions and her tailored adaptations of the GAPS protocol, we’ve seen magical progress in just three months. The changes in our son have been nothing short of remarkable.
It’s never too late to start—but putting in the work early makes all the difference. There’s truly nothing to lose and so much to gain.”

“I truly felt like a part of this parents’ group and learned so much. One of my biggest takeaways was understanding the concept of what Kyle experiences—it’s such a comfort to have words and knowledge for it. The insights into co-regulation have been profound as well. I learned that the best thing I can do for Kyle and my family is to enhance and regulate myself.
As we approach the end of the year, I wanted to send a heartfelt thank you for sharing your healing wisdom with me. Even though we only spoke a couple of times, your guidance—both on the behavioral side and with the GAPS nutritional protocol—has made a profound impact on our family’s health during this critical year. I honestly can’t imagine where we’d be without GAPS and your support.”
